Puuh ... it has been a while since my last activities here in DA! What have I done during the passed months? Really can't remember very much ... obviously not painting ...

To be honest I have been missing any kind of creativity for a while. I spent a lot of energy for my family and on my job where the daily routine was interrupted by full time software design and implementation tasks ... and so there wasn't much to work on my own stuff. This time is not yet over but I can see the light at the end of the dark ...

A good starting point to get back on the road was my this years painting session with *yaamas. While we both started a painting by dropping color onto the paper, James came finally out with his wonderful Song Of Everland. My own get stuck due to an overdose of gesso and a missing idea on how to deal with it ... ... so it is still unfinished and waits for some major modifications now (I posted the status quo in the scraps section as WIP The Unfinished).

But this session gave me back confidence and inspiration and so some new sketches for my next painting are already done (see Scrapbook I and Scrapbook II) and ready to get drawn on watercolor paper ...
